Andrew Pace here, founder and CEO of inplayLIVE, coming at you with our “Where to Bet on Sports” series, where we're covering the states where sports betting is legal, legal states for sports betting, and more generally, online sports betting in the USA (and mobile betting apps).

We're going to be going across all States that have legalized sports betting today (& covering what states have legal sports betting).

We're going to be covering Atlantic City betting, in New Jersey - New Jersey Sports Betting & New Jersey Mobile Sports Betting.

So once upon a time, when it came to sports betting, whether you were professional or you just wanted to sports bet legally, you had to go to Nevada and most people went to Las Vegas to get that done. You'd walk up, you'd get an actual physical printed ticket of your wager you'd pay in cash.

You'd cheer for your games. It was pretty much all pregame betting. And times have certainly changed since then, because not only is Nevada behind when it comes to online sports betting in the USA, there are far better places and better States to go and to do your sports betting online. 

So when it comes to sports betting online, New Jersey is the Mecca.

That is the home in the absolute best state that you can be when it comes to sports betting online in the United States. And we're going to be covering the best sports betting apps to do exactly that in New Jersey.

People are flocking to New Jersey on weekends to bet on their favorite sports, NFL NBA, major league baseball (MLB), because New Jersey has the greatest selection of online sports betting apps of anywhere in the United States right now.

So we're going to be covering some of those apps that you can use to legally wager online. When it comes to sports betting in New Jersey and Atlantic city, let's dive in. 

All right, so when it comes to New Jersey NJ sports betting, what you have is options. You really have a tremendous amount of options available to you that you can wager on.

And when it comes to legal sports betting online in the United States, it's important to understand that $400 billion was illegally wagered in the United States alone in 2018. 

So what the States and the federal government are trying to do is capitalize on legalizing that market so that, you know, they can benefit from the money being poured into that particular area. 

And New Jersey is no different with the New Jersey sports betting tax revenue that they want to acquire.  New Jersey sports betting law is now more favorable and betting in New Jersey is now a great option for many because of that.

So in New Jersey, what we have is options and options are so important when it comes to successful sports betting strategies. If you're sports betting online, If you just use one sportsbook, you're not going to be able to succeed because you're subject to their odds and their odds only.

Only when you have multiple sportsbooks that give you the option to recognize value by comparing odds from different sites. Now, DraftKings is a very typical online sportsbook. You can pretty much bet on anything that you want. They have a promotion section up here at the top, which includes the promos and. boosted odds that they're offering, uh, at that current point in time, but I'm just going to go over here, click on the baseball tab.

And as you can see, there's pretty much every sport that you want to wager on. I'll click on MLB and you can see the slate of games for tonight. So you can bet them pregame, which is some people's favorite online sports betting strategy, or you can bet them live where you're actually wagering live. Which is what we focus on for the most part, uh, at, inplayLIVE.

You can see here, they have the run line, which is like the spread for the baseball game. When it comes to betting on the spread, the total runs, which is like betting on the over, under, and the money line, which is betting on which team is actually going to win the game. I'm going to click on the Washington Nationals against the New York Yankees.

And you can see here, they have their game lines, they have player props. You can wager on an inning by inning basis. You can even wager on if someone will hit a home run or not, and that sort of those player props, when it comes to online sports betting, they transfer over really nicely to other sports as well.

So you could bet on how many threes you want Steph Curry to hit in a game. You name it, right? So that's DraftKings, obviously a staple sportsbook, and they are competing for your business hard right now. So they have some incredible promos. Fanduel is the other big one right now when it comes to best sports betting apps and online sports betting in New Jersey and all across the United States for that matter (what states allow Fanduel sportsbook you might ask - more on that later).

Here I am on the Fanduel sportsbook. Again, they have the promotions tab. They have their live wagers and everything that's available to them on the left here, all the sports that are available in this case, I'll click on basketball and here's the slate of NBA games available tonight. If you actually compare DraftKings to Fanduel - they're similar, but they're different and you should not prefer one or the other. You should recognize where each site differs from each other. And that's where those advantages can be provided to a professional sports bettor like myself who profits over six figures per season, betting on sports. 

You can see here, the States that FoxBet is available. And I think FoxBet is a tremendous option to have, and they have some really soft lines, which means that there's some great opportunities to profit off of FoxBet, but you can see right here, you can click on New Jersey and then there, you're going to see the New Jersey specific sportsbook that's available to you.

I'm going to go over to bet365 and bet. Bet365 is one of the most sought after sportsbooks, especially in the United States. And I think that's because it's just very, very, user-friendly, it's easy to use. I wouldn't say it's better than DraftKings. It's just different. It's a whole other sportsbook with a whole other odds provider.

So when you have a sportsbook, there's actually an odds provider, which is the third party, the middleman that's actually providing the sportsbooks with the data and odds that they're displaying to us. The sports bettor. And DraftKings uses the same online sports provider as a whole bunch of other sports betting online sites, including Barstool sportsbook, but DraftKings is in the process of changing their sportsbook provider.

They're buying their own, but they use the system and can be as the same as Unibet. Leo Vegas, Golden Nugget, Barstool Sportsbook, Mr. Green, and a whole bunch of others. It's good to have different odds providers, but it's also good to know who is providing the odds so that. If you do ever get limited on a specific site.

You can always then know that there's an alternative to that particular sportsbook elsewhere. So here we are on bet365. They have a welcome bonus as well. You can use bet365 in New Jersey, which is awesome. And I'm just going to switch back over here and I'm going to show you guys BetUS and BetUS as an offshore sportsbook that you can use in anywhere in the United States. I definitely recommend having it. 

Crypto Sports Betting - they have crypto options to deposit. So a lot of people really like to deposit and wager in crypto and betUS is a great site that does allow you to do that. Now. I think it's really important to make sure when it comes to sports betting online in New Jersey, that you don't just pick one of these books if I had to start.

And if I was in your shoes today, I would get Bet365, DraftKings FanDuel, and I would have an option, an off-shore option, like betUS. I would start there. And then I would build out my arsenal as I began to become more comfortable with those specific books.
